This is a useful tool, however, if the list is extensive clicking the column header does not sort it. the header is clickable but doesn't do anything. I understand there are other ways to obtain this information but this allows the employee to do it and on secure machines where the command line and other methods are much more restrictive.
We enable the Anti-mac spoofing in SEPM and the managed client will receive mac spoofing alert that the remote host is the SEPM server every day.

There are 285 clients in my network but there are only 128 clients are showing up to date. All the other clients are OUT OF DATE or OFFLINE.
I have gone through lot of forum replies but i was unable to understand the solution. If any one can give me the clear options and steps to solve this issue that would be appreciated.
What i have done?
1. I have checked the connectivity with the client ?
I couldnt check all the clients but check some random clients which show OUT OF DATE status. All of them have connectivity with the SEPM.

I have installed symantec endpoint protection client from the SEMP but the same is not reflecting nor the client is updating it shows server offline please help me for the same the screen shot is also attached for your ref.
I have SEPM 12.1.3 and another server with SEP 11.0.7. In SEPM I set the other server as a GUP, but the setting is still False. The other server isn't in the domain.
Does the SEPM and GUP need to be the same version? Am I missing something else?
I am running SEP 12.1.3 on Windows 7 64 bit client machines and some of my users are experiencing intermittant BSOD. Analysis of the dump file shows BugCheck 3B with "probably caused by" pointing at SYMEFA64.sys.
I have had a ticket opened for 2 months with suupport and have gotten no where so I thought I woudl turn to the communitity.
I have been running 12.1.3 (Manager and Clients) since around July of this year. In October I started receiving notices of these PC Crashes. I have ruled out an issue with windows updates as the timing of updates applied versus when this issue started happening does not line up.
Microsoft points that this sort of crashed has been linked to Graphic Drivers ( here). For the group of PCs that have crashed some systems use ATI cards and some use NVidia cards. So I believe it safe to rule any graphics issues.
In looking at the release notes for 12.1.4 it does mention that if fixes some BugCheck crashes but not specifically 3B.

I'm having a widows server 2003 and there many servers all are Itanium boxes running SAV on the server .I need to update the latest definations on the server .I run the Exe thst is shared with me and running that later on it gives me the error - this package is not signed with a valid symantec signature .This intelligent updater package cannot continue installing .

Hello, I want to move away from using MalwareBytes in order to clean house in the future, but a lot of the times there are items that SEP does not pick up. Malwarebytes has very unpredictable behavior including causing damage to the Windows Firewall and I am guessing here, but it also apparently causes issue with the BaselineFiltering (BFE) service. I want to rely more on SEP and not on MalwareBytes, what I would like to do is maximize SEP's potential for catching Malware and other threats that typical scans may not catch. What can I do in order to improve this ability for SEP and not depend on Malwarbytes?

We had some issues with SEP11 hence we opted to create our SEP12 from scratch instead of upgrading it. One of the challenges we are experiencing is how to copy the exceptions to the new infrastructure.
we have around 100+ exception in the WS centralized exception and when I tried exporting and importing to SEP12, its just showing 0.
manually recreating the exception would take up some time as we have more than 300 on the server centralized exceptions.
Can anyone advise how to do this?

One of the most frustrating things about SEP 12.1 is that I have to open SEP and then select Live Update.
I desperately miss LUALL that was in SEP 11!
Surely Symantec has addressed this issue by now?
Surely there is a download somewhere that creates a single-click solution for running Live Update?
It used to be that the fewer clicks required to perform a task the better... What happened?

BTW The Additional Tags (2) are overlaying section (3) in IE 11 and it's not obvious what they are generating an error message.

I find that the data directory now is C:\Programdata\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.2015.2015.105.
Would it be changed by liveupdate?

We are currently running SEP version MR5 and plan to upgrade to version 12.1. I have 2 questions:
- We are finally deploying Windows 7 computers to our network and have started with just a few machines. Because the supported version for this OS is MR7 we'd like to create and deploy a SEP MR7 package. Can we have MR7 packages/clients deployed with the SEP Mgr still being on MR5? (We plan on migrating to 12.1, don't want to spend time on upgrading this server if we don't have to.
- For long term solution we will move to 12.1. Should we do inplace upgrade of the existing server (Windows 2003 32bit) or move over to a brand new server? If we do a brand new server is the process just to build a new SEP environment and if so...will the client deployments automatically overwrite the existing client settings with the new Mgr server as the management server?

I have recently got this issue where I have a PC insalled with the SEP client, when I login as an Administrator the SEPM creates one seat and when I login with another user it will again create another seat on the SEPM. The SEPM usually creats seats based on the PC and not on the users created on the same PC.
At the end of the days I SEPM gives a warning on the No of Seats Exceeding,
